Mission Statement
New England Associated Paranormal Research and Investigation (NEAPRI) is an association of investigation groups and independent researchers in the field of paranormal study. 

The group’s intent is to research and investigate unexplained phenomena throughout New England purely to gain knowledge and understanding.  We also aim to offer our knowledge to educate others who may have questions or concerns regarding the paranormal. 

We have devoted a great deal of our lives to our passion offering a combined 20-plus years of actively investigating claims and even more so in research. 

What we feel sets NEAPRI apart from many other paranormal teams is our approach through hypothesis based experimentation.

Our members use instruments of scientific nature, treat them as such by understanding their limitations and defined use. It’s through this methodology we explore the facts of the case at hand and look toward scientific and natural causes. We feel this gives us a healthy and effective balance within our group.

Integrity Commitment
The foundation of credibility in a field that is widely regarded by many as a pseudoscience and riddled with charlatans is a difficult road to pave. NEAPRI employs whenever possible measures to control the environment when monitoring and recording reputed locations said to contain anomalous activity.

A home base is established in an accommodating area neutral of activity where passive investigation can be conducted without audio or video contamination created by the homeowner or investigators present. All participants are accounted for during all phases of the investigation particularly in recorded audio sessions.

Whenever a vigil is performed, a minimum of two investigators will be paired to ensure that if an event does in fact occur, a collective analysis can be documented. Under no circumstances will NEAPRI share an event vocally with another investigator at the moment of occurrence. Instead, the event will be diligently documented on paper and compared at a later time. This effort is to prevent the possibility of cognitive bias taking place.

NEAPRI prefers to utilize higher quality equipment during its investigations. This effort is to prevent a minimum of false positives that seem frequently present in lower grade instruments.

Our team makes every effort using the process of elimination before making a branded statement of proof of the paranormal by means of replication, science based experimentation, peer review or from ourr attributed experience through countless years researching and investigating.
